Cellular data transmission has become an integral part of communication in the field, which is why Acura Embedded Systems has designed a mobile Wi-Fi routing
solution, supporting all North American 850MHz & 1900MHz networks. The AcuConnect creates an instant Wi-Fi hot spot from your cellular wireless data service by
the way of a PCMCIA, Express, or USB data connection card. The AcuConnect will also support upgrades from 3G to 4G, which will drastically reduce the cost of
having to purchase a new modem from the provider. The AcuConnect has the ability to route information through both wired connections and Wi-Fi connections with
up to a 50 yards radius. This will allow multiple vehicles to be networked together at the scene, giving first responders critical communication capabilities.
