The newer PowerBrick will provide multiple options for extrememly fast processors, RAM upto 8GB, high definition video, and a removable hard drive.

The PowerBrick 2.0 was in use up until recently and features many of the same designs as our current PowerBrick 3.1. The upgrade from this model to the most recent included added processor and RAM resources as well as different connector configurations.

The next model of PowerBrick was significantly smaller that the last but just as robust. There are still many of these units being used in the fieldand supported by Acura Embedded Systems. This is the first generation of the PowerBrick to feature the full heat sink design.

Original PowerBrick

This was the original PowerBrick computer used for emergency response; it was built on the rugged PC-104 platform. This particular unit was in use in West Kelowna Fire Rescue for almost 7 years when it was replaced with the present model of te PowerBrick.
