Powertech Group

Powertech Labs is a wholly owned subsidiary of BC Hydro, the principal electric utility in British Columbia, Canada. Powertech and Acura are presently jointly carrying out a Corona Imaging project aiming at more effective surveillance of high voltage power lines and substations. Acura has designed a special low power, high performance computer that analyzes images from an air borne Corona test camera system.
