Acura Embedded Systems (AES) has always
specialized in unique modular mobile data terminals targeted
specifically towards the fire fighting and emergency
response environment. Now AES has taken technology to the
next level.
The all-new generation of AES Powerbrick and
Powerbrick CV computers has recently been released and is
creating incredible marketing excitement and industry
acceptance.
The all new ultra compact Powerbrick and Powerbrick CV
computers have been designed to be not only compact enough
to fit in a glove compartment or small out of the way
position, but now have a 6 –40 volt dc power supply built
into the computer chase for ultimate ease of installation.
This enables the new series computers to be directly wired
in to the vehicles 12volt system.
The new Powerbricks also have a newly engineered dual
card bus slot, enabling the user to use either a local
broadband wireless network or with your choice of cellular
provider. This new feature enables the Powerbricks to easily
work with any CAD system.
As in the past AES has kept all the previous
user-friendly features such as GPS, and the 4 channels DVR
on the Powerbrick CV series. The CV model being capable of
displaying up to four channels video simultaneously and
recording up to two weeks of information at 120f/s.
Unlike rugged laptop bandage solutions the emergency
environment friendly Powerbrick is CPU upgradeable and comes
with a separate ruggedized splash proof, Nema 4 touch
screen. A new single cable multi-harness has been developed
again to make the system more installation friendly.
