As an active member of the PC/104 Consortium and of the Linux Community as well as being a Microsoft Embedded Windows partner, we support up-to-date standards that facilitate embedded systems development and enhance product reliability, ruggedness, modularity, connectivity and expandability. In addition to its own sales force, Acura currently has distributor partnerships with Pentagon Rugged Systems, Blue Max, EmerGeo and CAD Zone, as well as an extensive network of vertical international distributors and  resellers.

In a multitude of mobile operations ranging from a handful to more than 5,000 operators, our solutions have substantially helped improving productivity in a variety of environments, including field services, utilities, aerospace, public safety and governmental.

Also in the corporate market, Acura has made important inroads. Some of our largest customers are Transport Canada, TSI (Terminal Systems Inc.), SMI Marine Ltd., Powertech Labs, University of British Columbia and Mainland Engineering. The staff of Acura Embedded Systems possess high levels of education and a wealth of experience. Most of our technical staff are engineers with a computer-related certification. As a team, Acura Embedded Systems personnel continue to stay abreast of technological advances through participation in seminars/training courses and extensive exposure to design, configuration, assembly and programming of industrial computer systems.
